Retaining Walls are Structural

As retaining walls are built taller the proper foundation becomes more important.

A deep concrete foundation should be the first thing that gets installed for any retaining wall to help balance the weight of the material that gets built on top.

In this photo we have a foundation that was built out of Austin Stone and has a decorative cap on top. Austin Stone, a type of limestone quarried primarily in the Austin, Texas area, is renowned for its natural textures, light colors (ranging from creamy white to gold and taupe), and its ability to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape.

Here are common reasons to install retaining walls:
