In the DFW it doesn’t always rain, but when it does it pours!
Too often, we encounter home owners who suffer the consequences of poor drainage.
Our decades of experience in concrete allow for us to see the big picture and provide solutions proactively before water management becomes an issue due to new concrete.
Whether the issue was caused by years of soil build up, poor planning from the builder, or anything else, we have the solution!
We have experience in designing and implementing simple or complex drain systems and can execute the solution from excavation to the electric work if needed.
Some of the available services we offer include channel drains, driveway drains, catch basins of various sizes, downspout drain systems, French drains, pop up drains, area drains and more.
Drainage Specifics
Did you know that corrugated pipes are more likely to clog due to sediment collecting in the ridges?
For most drain applications we use PVC drain piping and materials, minimizing risks such as corrugated pipes collapsing under the weight of dirt alone!
Specialized fittings are used to help direct the flow of water.
The joints in the drainage system are specially fitted and glued together.
We use soft angles when changing the direction of a solid pvc drainage channel.
The “standard” for a drainage channel’s slope is 1%, but everybody’s home is different and may require unique solutions.
In certain occasions the slope works against the area where we water to be drawn away from, in which case we may recommend a sump pump to force the water in a specific direction.
