Add Luxury to your home with Stamped Concrete!
Stamped concrete is a luxurious concrete finish that can mimic materials like brick, flagstone, and wood.
Our stamped concrete uses the same strong concrete mix we use for all our applications with rebar and corresponding thickness, but it looks really nice compared to regular concrete.
We use a commercial grade concrete sealer that lasts anywhere from 2-5 years depending on application and environment.

Hardener vs Integral
Stamped Concrete can be installed by two methods, the first involving color hardener, and the second involving integral color.
Color hardener usually provides a more vibrant color due to the flexibility of applying additional color hardener on the surface of the slab where needed.
Integral color has the advantage of the pigment blending into the concrete as it’s being mixed providing color throughout the entire slab.
Color Hardener
A color hardener is broadcast onto the surface of the wet concrete.
This is a powder that adds the base color and increases the surface’s durability.
It’s worked into the concrete using a float.
After this, a release agent is applied.
This powder prevents the stamping mats from sticking to the concrete and provides a secondary color that highlights the texture and grout lines.
Integral Color
The integral color pigment is mixed into the concrete in the truck.
It is crucial to maintain a consistent water-to-cement ratio and use pigments from the same source to avoid color variations between batches.
Once the color is thoroughly mixed, the concrete is poured into the forms and leveled with a screed and float.
A release agent, usually a powder, is applied to the surface of the wet concrete. This agent serves two purposes: it prevents the stamping mats from sticking to the concrete and it provides a secondary, accent color that highlights the texture and grout lines of the pattern.
Stamping and Sealing
Once the concrete reaches the right consistency, which is firm enough to walk on but still pliable, the stamping mats are pressed into the surface.
The mats, which come in various patterns, are interlocked to create a continuous design.
This is the most crucial step, as it creates the desired texture and pattern.
The process requires precision and speed to ensure a consistent, realistic finish.
After the concrete has cured sufficiently, the surface is cleaned to remove any excess release agent and we clean up any visible seams.
A semi-gloss sealer is applied to the cleaned surface with a mixed in anti-slip additive to provide additional traction.
The sealer protects the surface from stains, fading, and weathering while enhancing the color.
